Registration Starting Date - Dec 13,2017
Closing Date of Application - Jan 3,2018
The candidate once who registered for any examination of PSC need not to register again he or she can use the previous registration number.
The Departments under which the JE's are palced are as follows
1. Public Works Department
2. Public Health Engineering
3. Irrigation Department
4. Water research and investigation Department
5. Municipal Affairs Department
6. Development and Planning Department
7. Panchayet and rural Development
These are the important departments of PSC out of 14 Department
Vacancies
As WBPSC have a huge number of department under its control total 14 Department as per previous year requirements and according to survey it is found that every department required a good number of junior engineer previously 1092 candidates recruit by PSC in this time vacancy may vary from 500 - 1000.
There are above 100 non joining vacancy.
Recruitment Process
Two main process of Junior Engineer selection ( i ) Written objective type exam of 200 marks and ( ii ) Personal Interview of 100 marks Total Marks 300.
In written examination total number of questions 100 having 2 marks for each right answer and 0.67 negative marks for each incorrect answer.
All questions are Multiple Choice Questions and from only technical knowledge from your syllabus no non-technical questin asked in written examination.

Subjects of Junior Engineer Civil of WBPSC as per your diploma subjects there are no question asked from Railway Engineering and Hydraulics or Fluid Mechanics. The syllabus of WBPSC JE Civil as follows
